Mia 2

27 Aug

LELO MIA 2 BlackThe Mia 2 by Lelo is a small smooth vibrator with a slick, hard plastic exterior that looks a bit like a tube of lipstick and has a built in USB charging port. It’s discreet, fairly quiet, moderately strong (surprisingly so for its size) with six settings, and comes with that great Lelo warranty. It’s also waterproof, so you can take it into the bath with you and wash it easily with soap and water. It’s a pretty little toy with some nice zip to it! Continue reading

Rechargeable Magic Wand

13 Aug

magic wand The Original Magic Wand has long been considered the Cadillac of strong vibrators, and it went relatively unchanged since it hit the US market in the late 1960s. The classic design has been recommend far and wide for all people who love vibration, and especially those with vulvas who struggle to orgasm without intense, prolonged stimulation. It has even been recommended for those with significant genital scarring from genital surgery and forced clitoral removal. It used to be called the Hitachi Magic Wand, but recently Hitachi sold it to Vibratex, and it is now called the Original Magic Wand, or just the Magic Wand for short. When Hitachi transferred the product to Vibratex we all held our breath, terrified that it might lose its magic. However, Vibratex did us proud with some mild, positive improvements to the original design. And now, they’ve introduced a cordless version which I promptly purchased from Secret Pleasures in Washington, DC in the name of SCIENCE to review for you! Continue reading

Je Joue Uma

Uma, je joue, vibratorI have been a huge fan of Je Joue for a while. Their toys are always well designed, made from incredibly smooth silicone and really innovative (the G-Kii, as far as I’m concerned, is still the most unique g-spot toy on the market).  When we got the Uma in for testing, I was thrilled since I have loved all of my other Je Joue toys. Uma has turned out to be another excellent edition to the Je Joue line … with one exception. Continue reading

Minna Limon

Minna Life LogoMinna is a company that I have really admired since they hit the scene a few years back with the Ola. I love their colorful packaging, clean design and simple “squeeze to use” functionality. So it should come as no surprise that I was incredibly excited when Minna launched a crowd funding campaign for a new toy, the Limon, last year. What’s not to love about an adorable little citrus shaped squeezy vibrator?! When I finally got my hands on one 1, well, it was love at first … squeeze. Continue reading
